Great start, rough finish
I used Solomon & Sons for a long-distance move from Boca Raton, FL to Minneapolis, MN. The experience started very strong. Shani was excellent—helpful, transparent, and clear with expectations. She didn’t oversell anything and even provided free moving supplies. Pickup was smooth and stress-free. The issues came during delivery coordination. My delivery rep, Jennifer, was kind and responsive, but there was a significant breakdown in communication. I was clearly told that my delivery would not occur before 12/12/2025 due to my lease start date. However, just two days before delivery, I was informed that my belongings would arrive earlier. This forced me to scramble and negotiate an early move-in with my apartment manager. Had that not worked out, my belongings would have been sent back to Florida—an unnecessary and stressful situation caused by last-minute changes. Additionally, one important box was lost during the move, and as of 1/11/26 I have not received an update or resolution. Overall, Solomon & Sons is a solid company, but better alignment with vendors and stronger follow-through when issues arise would greatly improve the experience. Clear communication and proactive gestures, like discounts, go a long way. My honest feedback.

Dissatisfying service
We used this service to relocate from Virginia to Maine. And while I commend their punctuality, and taking their time to pack our stuff, there were some big concerns. For some reason, the workers took apart my drawer and then left an important part at the old house. I’ve not been able to do laundry for about a month as I am struggling to replace that part and now have to hire a repair man. When they got to the storage unit, they packed all my boxes, including the ones clearly marked “glass” and “fragile” at the very back of the unit and then packed all my heavy furniture on, around and in front! Chairs and heavy side tables piled on top of boxes with my plates and glasses. I had to hire someone else to come and move the heavy furniture in order to get to my boxes! All that and I paid over $10,000! It was not worth it and I would. It recommend to others. Very disappointing.

We recently moved the contents of a condo in FL that we had in storage with Solomon to PA. We were completely happy with everything. Everything was was wrapped very well when it was picked up for storage and arrived in perfect condition months later. The communication during the move was excellent. Everyone was very assessible to check in with so we knew exactly when to expect them. The guys were friendly and very efficient, moving quickly and carefully. We would definately use them again if we are looking for movers. You can't go wrong with them.
