Moving Experience
My moving experience started off with Chris coming to the house to give us an estimate. He was fantastic. From there we moved on to Jason Soffer who was very reassuring about the whole process. A couple of days prior to our move I called the company to check on something and was informed that Jason had left the company on good terms and my contact person would be Jennifer Vega. Jennifer kept us informed as to when the movers would arrive for our pickup and how the move would go. In the middle of a major snow storm our delivery even arrived earlier than expected. The guys who made the delivery were excellent and at the end of all of the boxes being brought into the house, it was discovered that one box was missing. Boxes were checked by movers and my husband with an unsuccessful ending. After days of checking on other deliveries and with dispatch no good results. In the end Jennifer made sure we were compensated for a portion of our loss and the promise that if our box is located it will be sent to us. During this whole event Jennifer was very professional and helpful.

I felt at ease knowing they were taking care of all my things. They packed everything well and transported things to the truck in an efficient manner. Sandro and Julio were the best movers we could have hoped for. My girlfriend and I did not have much time to pack up our entire one bedroom apartment in the city as we were out of town prior and the guys not only packed our place but made sure to take the extra effort in making my girlfriend and I comfortable with the attention to detail. From large items to packing up our kitchen glass items Sandro and Julio made sure to take care of things in a timely efficient manner. We hope they are able to deliver our goods once they are out of storage in Tennessee as we had an amazing experience with them and trust them to deliver everything in a timely organized manner.

My Personal Experience
My experience with this moving service was beyond excellent in their preparation of my move to Newport, Rhode Island. Four hardworking men packed all my furniture and my breakable items. They cleaned up and left my house cleaned of all papers and packing tape. I hope all goes as well on the delivery side.

We're so glad that we selected Solomon & Sons to take care of our move. This was the first time we had to move within the states. So, we had NO previous experience whatsoever with this. Actually, we're BORICUAS (Puerto Ricans), for which we had limited knowledge of how to coordinate an interstate move in the states. We had to me my mother and older sister from Homestead FL to Ft Washington, MD. Thanks to the moving.com platform, we were able to submit an initial request, where we had 4 companies bidding. I must say this was the key, specially for us.,Among the 4 companies, all of them very professional and respectful, Ed (Eduardo Garret) was super kind and friendly on his calls and orientation. I should say that was key to our final decision. Having someone available to answer your phone calls, reachable and friendly makes the customer service difference needed. Price, super reasonable. 3 out of 4 were close on price, but S&S had the best. Arrival / delivery was estimated to be 2 - 3 weeks, the latest. These guys were there in 5 days...! Amazing....! And they always made the note about complying with all the required DOT regulations. My sister at MD was very satisfied. They called couple of days before to coordinate delivery, employees were friendly and cooperative and took all the cases, boxes etc. to the 2nd floor, as agreed. Family is happy. From getting a quote to installing the last piece of furniture in the our new home in another state, the Solomon & Sons service was impeccable. Igor and his team were true professionals. While we packed most of the boxes ourselves, Igor took care of the highly fragile items - which all made it through without a problem. The unloading was equally efficient and friendly, making our lives easier. Moving home is stressful, and moving across state lines even more so. Solomon and Sons did a fine job in moving all of my home furniture and special articles. I knew this company was reliable because I had used their services before. The three young men that worked together on this job were pleasant, cheerful, attentive, and worked in harmony together. These three young men were respectful and answered all questions. The job started on time and there were no breaks. They were consistent and quiet in their work. There were three stops to this relocation job and they were all handled with ease. This company is lucky to have these three men who represent them so well. Yes, if I needed Solomon and Sons service again, I would hire them. No questions asked! The second part of my review applies to a customer service person named Lakiesha Bentley. What a jewel this woman is. She SERVES the CUSTOMER. I put this in bold letters because I do not encounter many REAL customer service people. Customer service is a dying art. But not with Lakieska. She had all the answers and kept me informed through the whole process. She never faltered and never failed to keep me informed or follow up with all my questions. I owned and operated a bridal salon for 33 years. Customer service could make or break you. Too bad I didn't know Lakiesha. I would have hired her in an instant. Lakiesha is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! We had a great experience with the entire team. To start with Matt who was very accommodating with all my questions, concerns and changes to my inventory list. Keisha the scheduler and her team made sure we received our scheduled pick up despite some issues with weather. Lastly our team of guys were wonderful. David Sanchez took a lot of time to explain everything and was such a joy to work with!! He had such a wonderful attitude and worked hard never stopping. We also had Lorenzo who was so kind and also worked so hard never stopping or complaining, smiling all the time. We also had Marcell who joined them on the delivery. He also was very personable and a really hard worked. These guys worked so well together, it was a pleasure having them in our home amongst all the stress and craziness.
