Mike, team lead at delivery
Wanted to give a separate review for Mike, who led the team at the delivery point of our interstate move. He was exceptional in organizing and managing the delivery of our furniture and household items. He was professional, patient, perseverant, and was on top of the entire unloading, placement, and assemblage of furniture. He communicated frequently during the process, and had the right tools and know-how to do the delivery. He was very conscientious and customer focused. Well done!!!!
Completed interstate move
There are many aspects of a household move that Solomon & Sons do well. For our interstate move from Florida to Texas, we had a lot of confidence in their services based on the initial setup by phone. As the move progressed, our confidence was eroded by the differing informations we received depending upon whom we spoke. At the pack and pickup point, their team was fast and efficient, and more informative regarding the extent and cost of the move. At the delivery point, our expectations were further eroded by the fact several boxes were misdelivered to an address in Houston rather than to us in Dallas, and several pieces of furniture/items were damaged. Overall, they are better than the other interstate movers we have used in the past but they did not meet the high standards they advertised.

Awesome Service Start to Finish
We were fortunate to find Solomon & Sons for our move from Colorado to Florida! We worked with a team of professionals from Matt & Ed in the office all the way through Giovanni, our long-haul truck driver. The office staff walked through our inventory from 2,000 miles away and emailed us the estimate right away. We were able to electronically sign, alleviating the burden of scheduling a walk-thru estimate and signature. When our driver, Giovanni, arrived on time on our designated day, he and his team were quick, efficient, courteous and respectful at all times. They protected our wood furniture with great care and crated/packed our delicate glass curios. On the designated date of arrival, Giovanni called to check in and schedule a time for delivery and he was on time. He and his team unloaded the truck with efficiency, courtesy and even some humor! All of our belongings arrived safe and sound, not so much as a crack or chip! We would definitely use Solomon again if the need arises and have already recommended them without hesitation!
GREAT SUPPORT FOR MOVING MY MOM
We're so glad that we selected Solomon & Sons to take care of our move. This was the first time we had to move within the states. So, we had NO previous experience whatsoever with this. Actually, we're BORICUAS (Puerto Ricans), for which we had limited knowledge of how to coordinate an interstate move in the states. We had to me my mother and older sister from Homestead FL to Ft Washington, MD. Thanks to the moving.com platform, we were able to submit an initial request, where we had 4 companies bidding. I must say this was the key, specially for us.,Among the 4 companies, all of them very professional and respectful, Ed (Eduardo Garret) was super kind and friendly on his calls and orientation. I should say that was key to our final decision. Having someone available to answer your phone calls, reachable and friendly makes the customer service difference needed. Price, super reasonable. 3 out of 4 were close on price, but S&S had the best. Arrival / delivery was estimated to be 2 - 3 weeks, the latest. These guys were there in 5 days...! Amazing....! And they always made the note about complying with all the required DOT regulations. My sister at MD was very satisfied. They called couple of days before to coordinate delivery, employees were friendly and cooperative and took all the cases, boxes etc. to the 2nd floor, as agreed. Family is happy.
