Only a select few moving professionals are listed as a CMC with ATA, after meeting rigorous requirements. Since her beginning at Solomon and Sons, Amanda has stood out as one of our most professional, courteous, and dedicated staff members, and we could not be more excited for her! 

What is a CMC?

In the world of moving and storage, a CMC is a Certified Moving Consultant certification given by the American Trucking Association (ATA), associated with outstanding performance in the industry. A CMC must undergo education and training requirements to build their knowledge and experience in the field, and only a few are selected to receive this prestigious certification. A CMC is an invaluable resource to professional moving companies because they can accurately estimate the cost of moves while providing courteous customer service. In addition, CMCs take an oath to abide by ATA's code of ethics to uphold responsible and honorable business practices.

About Amanda Roher

With over three decades of experience in the moving and storage industry, Amanda has dedicated herself to the dual roles of Sales Manager and Director of International Relocation at Solomon & Sons with professionalism and expertise. In addition, she has also expanded her role even further as our new in-home estimator for the southwest Florida region, a position that she is taking on to have a more personal experience with our customers. At Solomon and Sons, she is an invaluable resource as she has supported thousands of clients in the private and corporate sectors with their nationwide and international relocations for many years.

Amanda was accredited as a Certified Moving Consultant by the American Trucking Association for providing a caliber of service that surpasses typical expectations. As of date, only 48 people in the country have been awarded this certification for extensive knowledge and expertise.
